Microsoft 的硬件产品除了是 Xbox 游戏机系列外，自家推出的产品较小用家认识，近日 Mircosoft 比 Google 更早宣布将会推出自家的 Tablet 产品 Surface for Windows RT 及 Surface for Windows 8 Pro，为之后推出的 Windows Tablet 打下一支强心针。

Surface for Windows RT 运行 Windows RT，针对以 Tablet 作一般上网消闲的用家，带有 10.6 吋屏幕的它仅重 576g，在 10 吋左右的 Tablet 中，算是轻巧。由于 Windows RT 不需太强的规格也可运行流畅，故 Surface for Windows RT 将会採用与手机相约的 Nvidia ARM 架构 CPU。

Surface for Windows 8 Pro 则运行正式版的 Windows 8 Pro，其规格更像一台手提电脑，包括採用现时电脑也会採用的 intel i5 CPU，10.6 吋的全高清屏幕，也支援 HDMI 输出及连接 USB 设备等。重量方面也十分接近手提电脑，重量达 903g 的 Surface for Windows 8 Pro，应该令不少準备入 Tablet 的用家面对两难局面。

Mircosoft 将会为 Surface for Windows RT 及 Surface for Windows 8 Pro 推出像 iPad 的 Smart Cover 的配件，其特色是内置 Keyboard，令两款新机即时变成手提电脑。Surface for Windows RT 及 Surface for Windows 8 Pro 将会于 Windows 8 推出后的 3 个月后推出，有兴趣的朋友可能还需等等。
